The editorial voice

We don't take press junkets. We don't accept gifted meals in exchange for coverage. The editorial team eats, drinks, and stays on its own bill, and the recommendations you read here reflect honest, opinionated, first-person experience of SW1, SW3 and Belgravia.

When we feature a venue, we have been there — often more than once. When we love something, we'll say so plainly. When we don't, we won't waste a column inch on it.

What we cover
