About Cadogan Hall

Cadogan Hall is a 950-seat concert venue just off Sloane Square, in a building that opened in 1907 as a Christian Science church designed by Robert Fellowes Chisholm. Its conversion created a hall with excellent acoustics, and it is the home of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, whose Music Director is Vasily Petrenko.

The programme is broad. Alongside orchestral and choral concerts from the RPO and visiting ensembles, the hall hosts jazz, folk, world music, rock and pop, musical theatre, family events, comedy nights, talks, book launches and podcast recordings. The October 2026 calendar, for example, runs from a visiting German radio orchestra and an RPO film screening with a live score to a regular comedy night and soul and funk gigs.

The hall's size makes it feel close to the stage from almost every seat, and it suits anyone wanting a concert in a more intimate room than the big South Bank or Kensington venues. It pairs well with dinner around Sloane Square or on the King's Road. Tickets are sold through the hall's own website, which also offers memberships and gift vouchers, and popular concerts can sell out with a waiting list.
