The Fuji Grill is the Japanese restaurant at Beaverbrook Town House, the boutique hotel on Sloane Street near Sloane Square. Its current menu, called Tapasu, blends the precision of Japanese cooking with the relaxed spirit of tapas: small plates and sharing dishes of modern Japanese flavours, served family style.
The signature is temaki, hand-rolled sushi served taco style in the manner of northern Japan. In the evening, between 6pm and 9pm, there is a 12-course sushi omakase at £100 per person, which can be chosen on the day, and a tasting menu drawn from the Tapasu dishes. Lunch brings a set menu, a temaki set or a bento box, with vegan, meat and fish options, and there is also a Japanese-inspired afternoon tea. A limited run of donburi bowls is on the lunch menu until 26 October.
