About Harvey Nichols
Harvey Nichols is the fashion-led department store on the corner of Knightsbridge and Sloane Street, opposite the Knightsbridge Underground exit and a short walk from Harrods. The Knightsbridge building is the company's flagship and was recently refurbished. In August 2026 Harvey Nichols was bought out of administration by Frasers Group, and the Knightsbridge store continues to trade as Harvey Nichols.
The store is strongest on designer womenswear and menswear, shoes, accessories and beauty, with a sharper, more fashion-forward edit than its larger neighbour. It is a good place to see new-season collections from international designers in one building, and the beauty floor is a reliable stop for skincare and fragrance. The Fifth Floor, with its terrace, bar and restaurant overlooking the Knightsbridge rooftops, has long been a draw for lunch and drinks after shopping.
It suits fashion shoppers who want a focused designer edit, and visitors looking to pair shopping with a drink with a view. Following the change of ownership, it is sensible to check current opening hours and which departments and restaurants are operating with the store before a special trip.
