About The Mandarin Bar

The Mandarin Bar is the main cocktail bar at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park on Knightsbridge, and one of the area's busiest evening spots. The interiors are by Adam D. Tihany and centre on a long rectangular bar laid out like a catwalk, with suspended copper glass lights and a gold, geometric frosted glass wall behind.

The list covers champagne, cocktails and mocktails, and the bar has its own caviar menu alongside bar snacks. Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, the hotel's restaurant, also runs an aperitivo menu from the bar, which makes it a natural first stop before dinner. For a gift, the bar offers a tailored cocktail experience in which guests explore mixology with the team, discover new ingredients and work out what they like to drink. The bar was a winner in Forbes Travel Guide's 2025 Hotel Star Bars awards, which recognise service in star rated hotels.

The Mandarin Bar suits after work drinks in Knightsbridge, pre-dinner cocktails, a celebration with champagne and caviar, and hotel guests who want a lively room without leaving the building. It is a few minutes' walk from Knightsbridge station and opposite Harvey Nichols. For reservations and current opening times, use the Mandarin Oriental website.
