Sloane Street Shops: A Walk From Knightsbridge to Sloane Square

OK25 September 2026·By Only Knightsbridge Editorial·4 min read
Burberry

Sloane Street shops run from the Knightsbridge junction south to Sloane Square, and the easiest way to cover them is to walk the street in one direction. The big Italian houses cluster at the northern end near Knightsbridge station, the jewellers sit mid-street, and the largest French flagships gather near the Sloane Square end. Start at Knightsbridge tube and finish at Sloane Square tube, or reverse it. Street numbers below are taken from each boutique's listing. Allow a full afternoon if you plan to go inside the larger flagships, and wear comfortable shoes: the walk is longer than it looks on a map.

The Knightsbridge end: Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana and Graff

Coming out of Knightsbridge station, Burberry is at 1 Sloane Street, with Dolce & Gabbana at No. 5, where menswear and womenswear sit alongside accessories, watches and fine jewellery. Graff, the London diamond house, is a few doors further at No. 11. This stretch is the busiest part of the street, so it is worth visiting early in the day if you want unhurried attention from the staff.

Gucci, Bottega Veneta and Brunello Cucinelli

The next block brings the Italian leather and tailoring names. Bottega Veneta is at 14-16 Sloane Street, Gucci at No. 18, and Brunello Cucinelli at No. 22 for cashmere and soft tailoring. If you are shopping for leather goods, these three are worth comparing side by side before you commit anywhere else. Nearest tube for this section is still Knightsbridge.

Prada and Loro Piana

Prada, founded in 1913, occupies 43-45 Sloane Street, an expansive boutique with two entrances carrying the full men's and women's ready-to-wear and accessories. Next door, Loro Piana at 47-48 is the address for fine cashmere and vicuña knitwear. Both are a short walk from Knightsbridge station, and together they make a good stop for investment pieces rather than seasonal trends.

Cartier, Tiffany & Co. and Hermès

Mid-street is where the jewellers gather. Cartier, founded in Paris in 1847, has a spacious showroom at 143-144 Sloane Street with a Set for You bespoke jewellery service, and Tiffany & Co. is next door at No. 145. Hermès, a house with its roots in nineteenth century equestrian leatherwork, sits on the corner of Cadogan Place and Sloane Street at 1 Cadogan Place, SW1X 9PX, a two-storey boutique carrying leather goods, ready-to-wear, fine jewellery and beauty. Browse ahead on the Hermès UK site. Nearest tube: Knightsbridge or Sloane Square.

Anya Hindmarch, Chanel and Roksanda

Further south, Anya Hindmarch at 157-158 Sloane Street is the London label founded in 1987, known for witty, well-made bags, many of which can be personalised. Chanel at 167-169 is a Peter Marino design built around the house codes of two-tone, tweed and the double C, and stocks fashion, watches, fine jewellery, fragrance and beauty under one roof. Roksanda's concept store is close by at 171-172. Nearest tube: Sloane Square.

Louis Vuitton, Dior, Valentino and Saint Laurent

The southern end holds the largest French flagships. Louis Vuitton, whose founder began with travel trunks in 1854, has its boutique at 190-192 Sloane Street, refurbished in 2019 and offers a Rare & Exceptional personalisation service. Valentino is at No. 186, Dior at 196-198 carries ready-to-wear and accessories with its own personalisation service, and Saint Laurent at 205-206. Nearest tube: Sloane Square.

Peter Jones, Sloane Square

Finish at Peter Jones, the John Lewis Partnership department store in a Grade II listed Modernist building on Sloane Square. It spans eight floors, with a home and technology hub, personal styling, Clarins Skin Spa facials and a Top Floor restaurant with views towards the West End, a useful place to sit down after the walk. Check hours on the Peter Jones store page. Nearest tube: Sloane Square.

Good to know

Most boutiques open from mid-morning and close earlier on Sundays, so check individual hours before a long visit. Many houses will hold pieces or arrange private appointments if you call ahead. Sloane Street also has a gift card that can be spent across its boutiques, and a concierge service that can help plan a visit. For lunch on the way, Cantinetta Antinori on Harriet Street and the cafés of Pavilion Road, which runs parallel to Sloane Street, are both close.
