Bvlgari Hotel London opened in 2012 on Knightsbridge, on the edge of Hyde Park and under a minute's walk from Harrods. The building is clad in textured Vicenza stone, and the interiors bring the Italian jeweller's sense of design to rooms that are notably generous: Deluxe Rooms start at 43 square metres with black Marquina marble bathrooms, while the 86 square metre Knightsbridge Suites look towards Hyde Park.
The facilities are a big part of the appeal. The Bvlgari Spa has 11 treatment rooms and a private spa suite around a 25 metre, three-lane colonnaded swimming pool with loungers and cabanas, and there is a full gym with its own personal training team. A 47-seat private cinema, a cigar shop and a ballroom that seats up to 150 for dinner complete the picture. Sette, the first London site of New York's Scarpetta group, serves Italian food on the ground floor with its own entrance on Knightsbridge Green, alongside Nolita Social and The Lounge.
