Cantinetta Antinori brings the Tuscan restaurant concept of the Antinori wine family to London, following sites in Florence, Vienna, Zurich and Monte-Carlo. It occupies a characterful period building on Harriet Street, just off Sloane Street, decorated with curiosities from the Antinori family collection, with white tablecloths in the evening and a relaxed all-day feel.
The menu mixes traditional and contemporary Tuscan cooking. Expect dishes such as pappardelle al ragù, vitello tonnato and bistecca alla Fiorentina, served with olive oil from the Antinori Pèppoli estate in Chianti Classico. The wine list is the real draw, built around Antinori bottles including Tignanello and Cervaro della Sala, with some exclusive vintages. There is a set lunch on weekdays, an aperitivo with sharing plates, and live music on Friday evenings from 7pm.
It suits a business lunch, a long dinner for wine lovers, or a break from shopping on Sloane Street. The restaurant is open daily from 12pm to 10.30pm, with lunch until 3pm on weekdays and 4pm at weekends and dinner from 6pm.
